When my kids were young, I found myself in the kitchen all the time. Our kitchen was the center of our lives while we were at home. We didn’t just cook and eat in the kitchen, but we also played, did homework, listened to each other’s stories, laughed, cried, entertained, and chilled in the kitchen. Planning dinners was always a challenge, as everyone had their own preferences and likings. As a mom of three, I was faced with the question “What’s For Dinner” everyday and was dreading the chore of coming up with ideas everyone would like.
During my training as a health coach, I realized that caregivers all over the world are facing with that same challenge, how to feed your loved ones with a healthy, quick, delicious meals. I began to collect my own recipes and transformed my cooking to be healthier, using only used only 'clean' ingredients, and attached simple to follow instructions to go along with them. I wanted everyone to find the recipes helpful, even the busiest of people can cook a meal quickly and easily. At the beginning I gave the recipes to my closest friends and got positive reviews. With the encouragement of close friends and family, the idea for a book was born.
